Paid $ 3500 for two first class internal USA flights and unable to use the lounge. Unless we pay €59 per person for a day pass or $ 600 per person annual subscription. Scandalous never using United again

Global Services? Why bother. Same lousy attitude and lack of service on the ground, poor lounges, ancient flight attendants and an overall subpar experience every time. When does this ever change?

In Jan.29th , i should have taken an airplane from Tokyo to San Francisco with American Airlines.The staff of the airport guided me to the united airlines front desk for me to chech-in and United printed a boarding card for me for a plane which I didn't have a ticket for. We had two delayed flights due to mechanical failure. This eventually led to us not making our final destination. We list $865 on a hotel and $200 on a hotel to fly out of another city anticipating being in Hawaii earlier. Now we have list a lot of money and a day from what should have been a dream vacation. No one we dealt with at United was helpful and on top if that rude. No accountability.

On flight from Sacramento to Denver for honeymoon. Booked flights and non-refundable lodging months in advance. Mid-air United pilots turned plane around due to landing gear problems and cancelled flight once back on ground in Sacramento. Could not get us on flight for next 3 days. Even as a Platnum milesPlus member, United is about milking every dollar and not about the customer. My return from sfo to DCA was disrupted by a snowstorm in Chicago. So I called united and rebooked through Houston for $200 more. When I finalized it, they asked if I wanted to upgrade both flights for 15000 points. (The normal amount). I did it. My Husband traveled with Untied Airlines to Australia for a wedding. He had a very short leave and had to be back in the office by Monday ,ready to work. We found a deal with United Airlines which was reasonable, however with an interchange. On the way back as he was about to board in Sydney, when he was denied boarding with an other 30+ passengers. My husband and I are traveling home from vacation. Our journey started at 5 this morning. I bought tickets from Cheap Tickets for my elderly mother to fly from Guatalajara Mexico to Portland Oregon. She was flying alone and scared.
