I was told by a customer service rep that due to having booked an economy flight that no refunds or changes were permitted. I am unable to fly due to a family emergency, and since I can't use the tickets during the dates reserved I am just out over $500 for nothing!!!!

I have flown more than a half million miles on UA. I have avoided booking with the airline for the last few years. Today, I am reminded again why. This company is operationally inept. Late out of Boston, even later than announced. Made up some time in the air, but all lost now while we circle around looking for a gate. Late or canceled is the norm with UA, not the exception.

I'm Platinum. Son and wife were traveling with me on Same flight/ ticket. I was charged $25 each for their bags. Supervisor said there must be a glitch in the system. Nothing she could do- was more interested in chatting with associates. Nothing customer centric about United. Such a shame as this experience negates much of what the committed employees work toward

I left home at 3 a.m. to get here in plenty of time. Now they say the plane won't leave until 3 this afternoon. I have lost an entire day of my vacation. Why cant you get another plane or rotate or anything? I even paid first class for a super experience and now i am missing some of my things in hawaii. Not a happy camper
