Cancelled flight arrived at destination 27 hours later

We planned this trip months in advance. We arrived at the United counter to check in, and were informed that our 6am flight was cancelled.

We were booked onto another flight much later in the day(1:30pm EST). Our luggage went to our destination, and we missed our connecting flight from Denver to Steamboat Springs.

We had another long waiting for our next flight, which ended up being 2 hours late and had mechanical issues.

We arrived in Denver at 12:50am MST and still had to drive 3 1/2 hours to our destination.

All we got was We are very sorry for the inconvience and 4- $150.00 credit vouchers to used United again!!
